What are the best apps for NBA betting?

Read Time:3 Minute, 26 Second

Basketball is a sport that attracts a huge amount of attention in terms of viewers and in respect of punters. If you’re the latter – or looking to be – then you will quickly realise there is a sickening amount of betting options associated with the NBA.

Thankfully, there are some places that make all that noise easier to manage; here we look at five of them with our guide to the best apps for NBA betting.

Number 5. Bovada

We kick off our look at the best NBA betting apps with Bovada. We’ll start with the downsides of the app, which is the fact that the sign up offer of a matched deposit up to $250 isn’t that high compared to some of the others we’ll cover here.

A good app isn’t all about bonuses though and what Bovada do have nailed down is a slick interface, easy and fuss free navigation and a decent array of NBA betting options. One of the standout aspects of the app is the in-play betting experience.

Number 4. XBet

We suppose we’ll start out the XBet review with their bonus structure. If you’re here just for NBA betting then you can net up to $500 in bonus cash along with a further $100 for each friend you refer. The app combines betting with blogging as there are ‘prediction’ type texts included. Betting-wise, the odds layout is smart with navigation simple and intuitive; it takes all of three clicks to go from the home page to actually place a bet. The only downside for XBet, for us, is the artistic design, which uses black, blue, white and vibrant green.

Number 3. MyBookie

In terms of the app colour scheme, the heavily black design, white text and splashes of orange look really smart but it’s the layout and structure of the fixtures and respective odds that really win. There are quick reference odds shown across three markets – points spread, money line and total points – as standard with the ability to drill deeper from there. The app also allows for crypto wagering and rewards. On top of all that they offer a strong sign up bonus worth up to $1k and offer some of the best customer services out there.

Number 2. TwinSpires Edge

Taking the silver medal spot in our list of the best apps for NBA betting is Edge by TwinSpires. Now, the sign up bonus of $50 is the weakest of the five apps we’ve covered but, as we mentioned earlier, it’s not all about bonuses.

Edge ticks a lot of other boxes hence its position of second. The design is easy on the eye, navigation is a breeze courtesy of ribbons and menus and it’s easy to improve in on specific fixtures, which cannot be said for every app. The odds layout and market depth are right up there with the best of them as well and they also have a few interesting articles in their blog about NBA (read here why Kevin Johnson is one of the most underrated NBA players).

Number 1. Bet US

Topping our list of the best apps for NBA betting is BetUS, which comes endorsed by Hall of Famer Gary Payton. When talking about Bovada earlier we were critical of their welcome bonus. You cannot angle that accusation at BetUS as they offer some rather insane bonuses; you can tap into a 150% deposit bonus in the sportsbook, which grows to 200% if you’re depositing with crypto. In respect of the app itself, it’s just very good.

You can quickly navigate into the NBA section courtesy of the striking blue and white horizontal ribbon. Once here you’ve got three key features to aid user experience.  The first is a toggle option that allows you to format the odds according to preference, the second is another horizontally positioned menu that gives quick access to different markets e.g. game or quarter betting and the third is a well-laid out odds format.

There you have it, the best apps for NBA betting. Which ones do you use?
